Why Valet?

Add value to your car

Its common sense that if a car looks great is going to sell faster and at a higher price than a car that looks shabby and dirty - especially true for family cars, no one wants to buy a previous family's crumbs and sticky finger prints!

A full valet costs from only £80 and this small investment could see hundreds of pounds added to your sale price - a car in poor condition could fetch £500 less that one seen to be in good/excellent condition - so well worth having done.

Protection, protection, protection

In the summer months a professional valet will ensure you car is free from tar, grit and bird droppings - which will quickly eat into the paintwork! It is important to protect your car from the suns harmful rays, to ensure it doesn't become a victim to premature fading and dulling. And no one wants to go cruising in the sunshine in a dull car!

You may think valeting your car during the winter months is pointless as it will get dirty again quickly, but if you don't remove all that grit, dirt and salt from the bodywork and wheel arches and protect your paint with a wax/sealant, it will quickly start to attack your car and cause permanent damage.

Good for business

If your vehicle/s are important to your business then they need to look their best. Whether you hire them out, use them as taxis or turn up to see clients in them, a dirty car or van isn't going to give the right impression - even if you're a builder or landscape gardener - a clean works vehicle will show professionalism and attention to detail.

Take pride in your surroundings

Besides your home, your car is probably one of the largest and most important purchases you'll make. So look after it, just as you would your home! Even if you aren't precious about the car you drive or how it looks, keeping it clean and tidy will ensure you and others respect it and it stays it good condition. Most of us spend a fair amount of time in our cars, why would you want to drive around surrounded by mud and mess!? Alot of people are shocked to know there are probably more germs on their steering wheel than on their toilet seat!

Frequently asked questions

"Do I need to book in advance?"

Yes. Please get in touch and we'll book your valet in for the date and time you'd like. We recommend you try to book at least 2 weeks in advance of needing the valet done if you want it for a specific date like a rental car going back or for a wedding (please don't leave it till the day before - you're very likely to be out of luck!) but we will always try to fit you in as quickly as possible - so just give us a ring and we can check the diary!

"How long will my valet take?"

It varies. But allow to be without your vehicle all day. We only offer high quality professional valeting, and this takes time.

"Do you come to me or do I bring my car to you?"

It depends. We are able to provide a mobile service and come to you. For this we will require the car to be in a position that will allow safe off road access all round and space to have the tools required by the vehicle too. We also require access to water (outside tap) and electricity. If this is likely to be a problem, you can bring your vehicle to us. We have a large undercover area and are insured for your vehicles to be left with us if you need to drop off the day before/collect the day after or need a 2 day valet. Machine Polishing is best done undercover.

"If I have a Machine Polish and you get some surface scratches out, will they come back?"

No, but.. new ones will inevitably be caused by subsequent washing, driving around, and people/trees brushing past your car etc. The scratches that are polished out are gone for good, but you'll then need to take extra care when washing your vehicle and protect it reguarly with wax for example to help keep it looking its best.
